Research / Doctoral Apprentice

The apprentices will be assigned to work with a faculty member and his/her team on a research project. The apprentice will be guided on how to perform the experiments and collect the data essential for the study.

The specific tasks vary depending on the field (STEM/non-STEM) and the type of research being done.

  1. Conduct literature reviews to understand the purpose of the research and what has been done
  2. Participate in the design of the experiment
  3. Set up / coordinate the experiment for collection of data
  4. Data analysis
  5. Evaluation of data to ensure accuracy and completeness
  6. Preparation of reports to communicate data

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree (for RA) or PhD degree (for DA)
  2. Effective oral and written management communication skills
