Demystifying Childhood Fevers – When to See a Doctor?

It is not uncommon for children to have fever, and many parents struggle with the decision to bring them to see a doctor or self-medicate.

During this session held on 21 June, Dr Christelle Tan (Medicine ’10), an accredited paediatrician in Raffles Medical Group, shared with alumni the myths about childhood fever, how to prevent fevers and how to help their children when they have fever. In addition, Dr Tan also talked about Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease (HFMD) and Influenza.
