In August 1926, an astounding crime stole the headlines and captured the imaginations of many in sleepy Singapura. Who shot Baba Tan? In the back of his head no less. What did his beautiful sister and the dashing robber who has made a career of crime have to do with it? What is their twisted tale of money, passion and deceit?
There is only one way to find out…
spell#7’s Kaylene Tan works with NUS writers to create a murder mystery audio trail inspired by an actual incident that happened at Neil Road. The tour will give you a different perspective of the crime, as you explore the Baba House and venture out into the neighbourhood to gather evidence.
Patrons are encouraged to bring their own earphones to enjoy the audio trail. Alternatively, headphones will also be provided by the organisers.
Patrons are advised to arrive at NUS Baba House 15 to 20 minutes before the show time indicated on their ticket. The audience of each audio tour session will commence their tour individually after intervals of a few minutes.
This is a rain or shine event. Patrons are advised to dress comfortably and come in comfortable footwear as the tour involves walking around the vicinity of the Baba House. Duration: 1 hour.
