It is my great pleasure to welcome you to NUS’ first virtual career fair!
NUS is committed to nurturing our students into future-ready graduates and preparing you for a successful transition to the workforce. Therefore, NUS Career Fest is an opportunity for you to meet employers and show them what NUS students have to offer. Our graduates have always been highly sought-after, with high employability and competitive starting salaries.
While COVID-19 has brought about some disruption, it has also sparked innovation. A spirit of innovation has defined NUS since its founding, so at our 115th anniversary, I am happy to see it manifested in this virtual NUS Career Fest.
Even though this Career Fest is online, I assure you that it offers the same rich networking experiences and learning activities as previous years, delivered directly to your online devices.
This year, we are delighted to have over 370 employers joining us, with over 3,900 jobs and internships available. This is the highest engagement we have seen from employers at an NUS Career Fest thus far.
The highlight of the event is our 1-on-1 text-based chat module. It functions as an excellent tool, and allows you to showcase yourself in diverse ways, by sharing web links to your online portfolio, self-introduction video, or LinkedIn profile.
You can also instantly join dozens of scheduled live webinars to get rich industry insights and personal career guidance.
I urge you to explore this page and take advantage of the many opportunities and activities brought to you.
On this note, I wish all of you a fruitful virtual NUS Career Fest 2020!
