Mentors' Corner
Who can qualify as Mentors?
Mentors would be drawn from a pool comprising senior executives of Ascendas corporate client companies including industrialists, institutional and angel investors, professionals, successful entrepreneurs, academia with consulting experience and industry experts. These individuals would be largely be people with appropriate skills, industry expertise, many years of experience and a wide network of contacts. Mentors are volunteers who have the passion, time and willingness to provide guidance to a mentee company. They could sit on the advisory board of the mentee company if invited and if they so desire.
Criteria for Selection of Mentors
- Willing to impart their knowledge, skills and real-life business experience
- Willing to introduce business contacts to the mentee company
- Willing to give devote time for the mentee company
- Experienced and senior executives of successful local and foreign enterprises or entrepreneurs who have launch and ran their own companies successfully or professionals and academia with experience in business consulting, venture creation, investment, industry development or business development
