Ascendas - NUS Entrepreneurship Centre Mentorship Programme
About the Program
The Ascendas - NUS Mentorship Program is part of the two organisations' aim of nurturing entrepreneurship in Singapore by providing appropriate value-added programs for technopreneurs and to encourage pro-entrepreneurial networking and collaboration among the local community of technopreneurs, business partners, investors, support groups and industry experts. The Program seeks to link aspiring technopreneurs with successful entrepreneurs and senior executives of corporations to acquire business know-how, skills and experience in developing and running a successful venture in this rapidly changing environment.
Specifically, the Program aims to:
- Add value to technopreneurs by helping them to develop commercially viable businesses through the coaching and guidance of business experts;
- Cut the technopreneurs' learning curve of running a successful venture and help them adopt appropriate business practices culled from the many years of real life experience of successful entrepreneurs;
- Improve the fundability of the mentee companies and the success rate of deal-flows between them and the investment community.
