Ascendas-NUS Mentoring Program 2006 for 7th Start-Up@Singapore semi-finalist teams now open for registration!
The Ascendas-NUS Entrepreneurship Centre Mentoring Program extends beyond the team mentoring during the competition by allowing the Mentors-Mentees to work together even after the competition has finished in May, for a typical 4-6 month period in the second half of the year.
The program enables matching between mentors and mentee companies with compatible interests in related industries to help facilitate collaboration between the two parties. In addition, Mentee companies would also be given preferential status in terms of accessing iAxil’s accelerator program, quick start-up space and Ascendas’ business network program.
Launched in 2004, close to 20 teams had been mentored under this program.

Mentored CEOs Growth Program 2006 for Start-Up@Singapore alumni now open for registration!
The Mentored CEOs Growth Program provides a wide range of mentoring support for all Start-Up@Singapore past participants from 1999, including teams prior to company incorporation, startups with less than 1 year in operation, or even more mature startups with 5-6 years in existence.
The list of mentors is drawn from a wider pool within the S@S network, including VCs, business angels and senior business & industry executives from Corporate Brokers International, Infineon Technologies, Siemens, Transpac Capital, Greendot Internet Services, etc. The pilot was launched in August in 2003, involving 13 mentee companies and an equal number of mentors, across a diverse range of industries – wireless & telecommunication, life sciences & biotechnology, consumer electronics, education & training, general services & sales, etc. Since 2005, the program has been supported by Innovators & Entrepreneurs Association (IdEA).
This year’s Mentored CEOs Growth Program will start in 2nd half 2006 after the Start-Up@Singapore Enterprise Launcher on 26 Jul. The program is open to all present and past Start-Up@Singapore participating teams and companies. Registration is now opened till end May 06.
