Startups Growth Programs

Overview

While startups are important in the next phase of our economy, many of them lack the expertise to start or even grow in critical areas. Having access to the right networks of information and resources can make a big difference in helping young startups succeed.

Small startups can benefit from the valuable business savvy and expertise of more experienced entrepreneurs and venture professionals. Partnering allows both companies and individual business professionals to bring their expertise and resources into these business-to-business collaborations to further their business objectives. A major objective is to encourage large businesses to partner with small startups that have less access to resources.

NUS Entrepreneurship Centre, a university level centre and a unit of NUS Enterprise, provides mentorship support for the university community as well as the general community through the following tailored mentoring programs:

  • University Ventures Mentoring - for university students, staff and alumni
  • NUS-IES Executive Mentoring Program - For IES members, NUS staff and others who enroll for NUS-IES Technopreneurship Workshops.
  • Ascendas-NUS Mentoring Program - for Start-Up@Singapore participants, and other aspiring entrepreneurs
  • Mentored CEOs Growth Program - For Start-Up@Singapore past and present participants.
  • Pay-It-Forward Mentoring - For pre-tertiary students and the community.
