Abstract
Ever wondered what the opportunities are in the information industry (include everything from publication to media, research and consulting) in today's Internet driven era? The Internet has obliterated every notion of traditional publishing, the dissemination of information and who people trust to provide them with ideas about the future.
Listen to how Emmanuel Daniel applied today's ideas on the information business to the banking industry and built the most respected publishing house in the banking industry in the region .

Come prepared for a lively discussion on some wide ranging questions and issues including: what is the real value in the information business? where is the money in the information business today? How to build a information business using e-mail services? where is the money in the Internet? why is building relationships very important for any entrepreneur? Can someone from Singapore build a truly regional business from scratch? how do I think out of the box and choose industries where I may never had experience before? Why sometimes you have to be a non-chinese to succeed in China? What are different stages of a company that an entrepreneur has to be aware of beyond the traditional models? and yet more.
