Abstract
Some people have chosen to leave their comfortable jobs to start their own business, and this is what Mr. Kwa did after working for 16 years in the Civil Service, a GLC and a MNC. Mr. Kwa will share his experience in creating a new business from scratch and growing it, and how it differs from being an employee.
About the Speaker
Kwa Kim Chiong is the CEO and Founder of JustLogin. Up till the founding of JustLogin, he was a deputy general manager and director of operations within the ST Electronics group, providing leadership in the areas of marketing, research and development and operations. Prior to that, he spent a good 11 years with the Defence Science Organization (DSO), holding the position of Head of IT when he left in February 1995. Mr. Kwa was nominated as a finalist for the “Netreprenuer of the Year Award” in 2001 by the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises.
Mr. Kwa holds an MBA and an honours degree in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
