Abstract
This seminar is to introduce an alternative way to seek public and private equity funding through the MESDAQ market of the Malaysian Stock Exchange. Dr PS Tang will share his views and experience on seeking listing on MESDAQ and how to raise funds from the private equity investors and venture capitalists in Malaysia. He will also go through the typical MESDAQ application process with some actual case studies.
About the Speaker
Substantial experience in technology investment, business management, corporate governance, investor relation and fund raising through IPO and private equity over the last eight years in managing listed companies in Singapore and assisting companies to achieve successful IPOs in the Singapore and the Malaysian MESDAQ stock market.
Was CEO of fast moving PC peripheral products manufacturer with an annual revenue approaching S$60million. Successfully turned around the company by repositioning its products focus, extending its global distribution network and enhancing its operational efficiency. Secured new investment of S$20m from a large Taiwanese semiconductor manufacturer.
Was a Group Executive Director and subsequently CEO of a public listed electronics company in Singapore responsible for growing new business opportunities. Led the group to grow its revenue from S$70m in 1995 to S$583m in 2000 through organic growth and some strategic Global M&A and JV deals.
Was a founding Director of a Singapore SESDAQ listed company through strategic M&A of several business units including an acquisition of a business unit from a large semiconductor manufacturer from USA. The company progresses to become a world class player in the back end semiconductor equipment manufacturer.
