    About the Speaker

    Mr Singham is a partner of Rodyk & Davidson. He obtained his law degree from the University of London in 1985 and was admitted to the Bar of England and Wales in 1986 and admitted to the Singapore Bar in 1989. He also has a Masters degree in law from the University of London. His principle area of practice is in commercial and corporate law. He is currently also leading the Firm's Technopreneurship Advisory Group which advises clients including start-ups on the legal aspects of their corporate and commercial activities including the formation of a suitable business entity; the licensing and protection of intellectual property rights; non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements;stock options , venture capital and other investment related activities; mergers and acquisitions and initial public offerings.

    Rodyk & Davidson established in 1877, is one of the oldest surviving legal partnerships in Singapore. It is a full service law firm and a founding member of the Pacific Rim Advisory Council, a network of 28 independent law firms providing services to clients in the Pacific Rim Region. The Firm is also the Singapore member of the World Law Group which is an association of some 40 member firms in 28 countries.
