Abstract
Innovation is the specific tool of entrepreneurs. It is the process by which they exploit change to bring about the reallocation of resources from areas of lower productivity and yield into areas of higher productivity and yield. The management of innovation is a discipline that can be learned and practiced. The seminar will provide an overview of the sources of innovation both within and outside the enterprise. More importantly, it will focus on the sustaining and disruptive effects of innovation on the enterprise. Dr Wyatt will also discuss the importance of having defined strategies related to managing innovation within the organization.
