Entrepreneurship Education

 Programmes

NEC develops and innovates entrepreneurship education programmes for the NUS community. One such initiative is the newly launched iLEAD (innovative Local Enterprise Achiever Development) programme. iLEAD, a 7½-month programme, provides internship-based experiential learning opportunities for NUS students in local knowledge-intensive enterprises. It aims to cultivate the entrepreneurial mindset of students and develop their leadership skills.

NEC also organizes summer study programme for international undergraduate students with the objective of learning about economic, enterprise and entrepreneurship development in Singapore. Programme participants will attend lectures conducted by academic professors; visit local enterprises & selected government departments; have dialogue sessions with entrepreneurs; engage in group work; as well as tour local attractions. Zhejiang, Fudan, Shanghai Jiaotong and Tsinghua are some of the programme participating universities.

With effect from AY2006-07, our Technopreneurship Minor programme has been transferred to the NUS Business School
