Asia, is responsible for the overall
strategy, development and marketing of the

Mr. Teo Zee Vee
CEO
I’M Technologies Ltd.
Zee Vee is a typical Singapore boy – thoroughly
born and bred in Singapore. He graduated in NUS
EE department in 1993.
Faced with the fact that he was not the most
academically inclined in his cohort, he decided
to venture his career into the field of Sales,
not any kind of sales but technical sales where
competition for such position was almost nil
from non technical graduates.
He had worked in a local SME and two MNCs for a
total period of 8 years. His noticeable
experiences during this period of time are on
how a weak management is formed, how to capture
high growth market from behind, how to break a
JV, how to manage a focus strategy and how to
turn company politics positively.
Zee Vee had 2 important mentors in his
professional career life. One thought him how to
carve out high level strategies and be able to
sell the ideas through to others. The other
mentor provided him the insights to top level
executives thinking and decision process to
better steer the operations in accordance to the
high level goals.
At the peak of his career in the MNC, he left
and co-founded I’M Technologies Limited in 2000.
The company provides smart cards used in mobile
telecom networks. The company is HQ in Singapore
with offices in 8 other Asian cities. The group
currently employs more than 100 staff and more
than 50% of them are engage in R&D activities.
In 2004, the company is publicly listed in the
Singapore Exchange.
Zee Vee’s concept of entrepreneurship is “Own
the land first before you plant the fruit
trees”.
