Double Degree Programmes (DDPs) in
Bachelor of Laws, LL.B. (Hons.) and
Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences (B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Hons.))

The intersection between Law and Life Sciences is an expansive one, cutting across many critical and controversial areas including biotechnology, bioethics, environmental regulation, forensic science, and the protection of intellectual property. The Double Degree Programmes (DDPs) in Law and Life Sciences leverage on the strength of Faculty of Law in the legal dimensions of these issues and depth of technical expertise of NUS Life Sciences, Faculty of Science, in these areas. It will enable students to discover the broad connections between law and life sciences and acquire a broad expertise to occupy the niche position linking up both disciplines.

The two DDPs in Law (LL.B.) and Life Sciences (B.Sc.) was launched in AY 2007/2008. The first is a 202-MC Double Honours Double Degree (with Honours in Law and Life Sciences). The second is a 186-MC Single Honours Double Degree (with Honours in Law).
