30 June (Wed) | The Nightwatch / El Vigilante | 75mins | PG

Salvador works the night shift as a security guard at a construction site located on the outskirts of Mexico City. One night, while the rest of the country celebrates a national holiday, Salvador tries repeatedly to leave the site in order to attend an important engagement elsewhere.

Diego and his mother, Silvia, happily live their lives until one day, Diego is diagnosed with kidney disease and needs an urgent transplant. Diego's parents find out that their kid was switched at birth. In order to save Diego’s life, they have to find his biological parents.

Valentina has the perfect life in New York with the perfect boyfriend. But when her scandal-ridden family in Mexico asks her to pretend to be married to her ex-beau, her ordered life turns upside down as she struggles to choose where her heart belongs.

Screenings start at 7.30pm daily.
All films in Spanish with English subtitles.

To ensure everyone's safety, the following Safe Management Measures will be implemented:
  • Registration is required and walk-ins will not be accepted.
  • If you are unwell or experiencing any of the following symptoms – fever, cough, sore throat, breathing difficulties or loss of sense of smell – please see a doctor and we regret that you will not be admitted to the event.
  • Admission opens at 7pm and closes at 8pm.
  • All attendees are required to check-in via TraceTogether-only SafeEntry.
  • Temperature Screening will be conducted. Attendees with temperature of 37.5oC or higher will be asked to leave.
  • Attendees are required to keep their masks on at all times and maintain a safe distance of at least 1 metre from other attendees.
  • Only single seats are available and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis
  • Tickets will be issued at the door and change of seats is not allowed.
  • To minimise disturbance to other attendees, please refrain from leaving your seat once the show has started.
Please also note the following:
  • Food, drinks and flowers are not allowed inside the Auditorium.
  • Flash photography and videography are not allowed.
  • All mobile devices must be on silent mode or switched off during the screening.
  • A valid photo ID (student/staff pass not accepted) must be presented to gain entry into all non-G/PG rated films.
  • Photography and videography by the NUS Office of Alumni Relations (OAR) may be carried out throughout the event. OAR and its event partner, the Embassy of Mexico in Singapore, may use some or all of these images in their print publications, digital platforms and marketing channels.
  • By registering for this event, you hereby consent to NUS collecting, using and/or disclosing your personal data to third parties (including any third party located outside of Singapore) for the purpose of processing, handling and managing your participation in the event stated herein.
