Assoc. Prof. Dr. Farrah Dina Yusop is the Director of the University of Malaya’s Academic Enhancement and Leadership Development Centre (ADeC), a center dedicated to enhance the professional development of the University’s academic staffs. Under the #UMTeachOnline program, the Centre is actively administering various activities to assist UM academics in online teaching and learning. She holds a PhD in two fields: Curriculum and Instructional Technology (CIT) and Human Computer Interaction (HCI) from Iowa State University, USA. Dr. Farrah is an active scholar-researcher-practitioner in the areas of higher education, Web 2.0, social media, educational games and mobile learning. She is interested in the design and development of technology-enhanced teaching and learning solutions to improve people’s personal and professional development.

Manneke Budiman

Manneke Budiman

Manneke Budiman is currently Director of Academic Development and Learning Resources, Universitas Indonesia. Prior to this appointment, he was the Vice-Dean for Academic, Research, and Student Affairs, at the Faculty of Humanities UI. He teaches literature and cultural studies in the Literature Department, the Humanities UI.

Chailerd

Chailerd Pichitpornchai

Associate Professor Dr. Chailerd Pichitpornchai has been appointed as the Director of Institute for Innovative Learning since 2018, as the Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University since 1986. He earned a Medical Degree from Mahidol University, and a Ph.D. (Medicine) and a postdoctoral research fellow (Medical Informatics) from Monash University, Australia. His expertise is in cognitive neuroscience investigating learning and memory. He has implemented Physiology e-Learning System, online e-Book system at Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University (as the President of the university in 2013-2016), and i-Learning Clinic in 2018. He can program 15 computer languages and speak 9 languages.

Chen Chwen Jen

Chen Chwen Jen

Chen Chwen Jen is a Professor in Learning Technology attached to the Faculty of Cognitive Sciences and Human Development at Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS). Currently, she also serves as the Senior Director of the Centre for Applied Learning and Multimedia (CALM) in the university. As the Senior Director of CALM, she spearheads the use of various learning technologies in the university teaching, takes charge of the faculty development programmes related to teaching delivery and works closely with other academics to advance the teaching and learning practices of the university. She received her M.Sc. in Computer Graphics and Virtual Environments from The University of Hull, U.K. and was awarded a Ph.D. in Instructional Design and Technology from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2006. Much of her research and publication work is devoted to areas such as learning design, development of technology-based learning environments, usability issues in learning environments and emerging learning technologies. She had also formerly served as a Member of the Head of Malaysian Public Universities Teaching and Learning Council (MAGNETIC) as well as the Member of the Malaysian Public Universities e-Learning Council (MEIPTA).

Johan Geertsema is currently Director of CDTL. His research revolves around the importance of values for higher education, academic cultures and identities, educational leadership, and evaluation of teaching achievement. He is on the editorial board of the International Journal for Academic Development and a member of the Universitas 21 Educational Innovation Steering Group.
