Drs. Rashid and Banta received the award for the Best Paper Presentation at the Higher Education Campus Conference (HECC) at NUS in December 2022. Their paper, The Art of the Fast Pitch: Presenting Research in 3 Minutes, detailed the collaboration between the Graduate School and the Centre for English Language Communication in preparing Graduate students for the Three Minute Thesis Competition. In 2022, Drs. Rashid and Banta helped NUS graduate students take two of the three top spots in Singapore. In addition, NUS was the only Asian representative in the international finals at the University of Queensland, Australia.
