Anuradha RAMANUJAN is Senior Lecturer at the Centre for English Language Communication where she leads the Curriculum Committee. She joined NUS in 2010 to help develop the University Town Writing Programme and continues to teach content-specific academic writing. Trained in literary and cultural studies, she has also taught at universities in India and the United States. Her research interests include contemporary Indian literatures and cultural politics, critical pedagogy, writing studies, food studies and critical animal studies and she has published in these areas. She has served on the editorial board of the Ecocritical Theory and Practice book series and as a reviewer for Interventions: International Journal of Postcolonial Studies. She is also a reviewer for the Asia Pacific Journal of Educators and Education.
