CAO Feng is a Lecturer at the Centre for English Language Communication. He has a PhD in applied linguistics and has extensive experience in teaching and coordinating courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Beyond his teaching in CELC, he has also offered short-term consultancy courses and workshops for research students from NUS School of Medicine and Integrative Sciences and Engineering Programme. His research interest includes English for Academic/Specific Purposes, Academic writing, and Corpus linguistics. He has published research articles in journals such as English for Specific PurposesInternational Journal of Corpus Linguistics, and Journal of Pragmatics. He also serves as manuscript reviewer for various peer-reviewed ELT journals, including Asia Pacific Journal of EducationJournal of English for Academic PurposesLanguage AwarenessLinguistics and EducationLinguaSystem, and Text & Talk.
