Jason BANTA holds a Ph.D. in Classical Greek and Latin Literatures and Language and MAs in Classics, Art History and Classical Archaeology. His research area is Greek Literature of the Roman Empire, and has published chapters on Plutarch's Rome (by Oxford University Press) as well as articles on Greek Tragedy and the Greek Novel. He has served as coordinator for the Ideas and Exposition programme and is currently the coordinator of the RVRC Critique and Expressions programme. His courses are focused on cultural studies and popular media, particularly Science Fiction.
