| Jungyoung KIM holds a PhD in Communication with a specialisation in Critical Gender Studies from UC San Diego and earned her Master’s in Communication at Seoul National University. Drawing from communication and media studies, postcolonial feminism, and ethnography, her research explores the significance of everyday communication in a private, intimate context. She is also interested in media discourse analysis to examine how media interacts with or informs people’s daily lives in the digital era. | |
