Amelyn THOMPSON is a lecturer at CELC, NUS. She holds a a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics from NIE, NTU, a CELTA from the British Council, Singapore, and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in the English Language from NUS. She is interested in technology-enhanced learning to improve student engagement. In addition to teaching undergraduate courses in academic writing and science communication, her experience and interests also include teaching and learning Baba Malay, an endangered language spoken by the Peranakan Chinese community in Singapore.
