| HOONG Shao Ting holds a BA in Linguistics from University College London and a MSc in Applied Linguistics and Second Language Acquisition from the University of Oxford. She was inspired to study linguistics after reading “How Language Works” by David Crystal, whom she was lucky enough to meet while in the UK. With her multilingual background, she worked in a localisation company and taught English as a Foreign Language in Japan prior to joining CELC. Outside of work, she is involved in activities for alumni who returned from teaching in Japan, and training for her next hike in the mountains. | |
