NUS Chinese Orchestra

Under the baton and instruction of Mr Lum Yan Sing, the Orchestra's Founding Music Director/Resident Conductor,and Associate Conductor Mr Moses Gay, the Orchestra has an extensive performance history since 1973 of showcasing instrumental soloists, chamber groups of varied combinations and medium-sized ensembles. It performs a diverse repertoire that ranges from traditional chamber music to challenging contemporary works, by both local and overseas composers especially in preserving its tradition of performing technically demanding symphonies and capriccios.
