The Science of Art is a panel discussion that will present and engage with the work of visual artists and writers whose practices intersect with various forms of science. The panel will comprise presentations of work from each of the panelists, followed by a moderated conversation shaped by a variety of questions: How is art and writing inspired or affected by the physical processes, imagined possibilities and ongoing discourse(s) of science? How does creative output engage with, re-imagine, utilize or perhaps even affect, scientific study? How can scientific theory or discovery be used as metaphor in art/literature, informing narratives and structures?

Panelists include Santha Bhaskar, Isabelle Desjeux, Shubigi Rao and JY Yang. Moderated by Tania De Rozario.
