The physical infrastructure of the studio and the materials that are directly or indirectly a part of art-making bear witness to the artistic process. A mark on the studio floor, a splash on the wall or a stroke on the canvas each freezes in time a conscious or spontaneous artistic moment. Yeo combines a selection of these elements into a visual presentation which captures ephemeral instances in her practice. The exhibition includes other works from the artist’s experimentation with media and machines – painting on film stripes, art in collaboration with robots and visual compositions from the vibration of loud speakers.
