Frames of Mind: Dialogues aims to stimulate a lively discourse on issues of mental health and making films about mental wellness through a series of moderated talks and workshops.

Session 1 : Define Caring! 
Date & Time : Sat 11 Mar 2023, 3-4pm

Define Caring!  delves into the work caregivers do and challenges popular misconceptions concerning caregiving, with guest speakers Veena Nanthakumar, Head of Children and Youth Team from Caregivers Alliance Limited, Jedaiah Chen of I’m Friendly Co, and Jay Ong, Head of Education and Enablement from Impart.sg.

Session 2: Dialogue with Filmmakers

Filmmakers Muhammad Bahajjaj (Director of Miss, Miss), Cheryl Tan (Director of Eggs) and Macarius Chia (Producer of Eggs) share their experiences, processes, and challenges faced in making short films centered around mental health.

Session 3: Making Movies that Matter – What Matters?

                         3.30-4.30 pm: sharing by filmmakers Sarah-Tabea Sammel and Sabrina Poon

This is a workshop for filmmakers by Sarah-Tabea Sammel, addressing the fundamentals of making meaningful films on issues of mental health. Following that, filmmaker Sabrina Poon will join her for a sharing session on their respective filmmaking journeys.
