Technology Scout, Asia Pacific, Airbus
Ignacio is Airbus' technology scout for Asia Pacific. With a focus on sustainability, he looks into new startups to cooperate with and add value to Airbus' products. He also works on an Airbus internal company to increase the availability of Sustainable Aviation Fuel in the market and advance towards a sustainable airspace.
Vice President, Commercial Operations, Asia Pacific, DHL
Damien Tan is a Vice President with DHL Asia Pacific’s Customer Solution & Innovation (CSI) team. CSI is responsible for managing about 100 of DHL’s largest and most strategically important customers and for the central innovation activities from the DHL Innovation Centers. Damien also leads CSI’s Global Solution Design team that leverages DHL group capabilities to design and develop leading and innovative supply chain solutions that meet CSI’s customer needs.
He has good appreciation of industries such as Technology, Automobility, Life Sciences and Retail/Fashion. And keen on subjects such as eCommerce, Sustainability and Circularity.
The 18 years in the logistics industry has also seen Damien take on roles as Head of Marketing for Middle East and Asia, and Country Managing Director Singapore.
Prior to the logistics industry, Damien developed his business and supply chain knowledge and experience through 6 years as Principal Management Consultant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers and 6 years in the logistics function of Baker Oil Tools, CarnaudMetalBox, and Black&Decker.
Assistant Vice President, Group Commercial, PSA International Pte Ltd
Jimmy Suroto is currently Assistant Vice President for Group Commercial in PSA International. His professional career began as a marketing executive in PSA Singapore, with a stint in PSA's fully owned subsidiary, Portnet.com Pte Ltd. He has accumulated a wealth of experience in the commercial arena, helping to chart strategic direction and global perspectives to maximize commercial value across the PSA Group.
Aside from his time in commercial, he has been involved in supply chain sustainability solutions with the goal of establishing a greener end-to-end supply chain. In this role, he works with customers, such as the shipping companies and Beneficial Cargo Owners (BCO) to support supply chain decarbonization. These PSA's initiatives leverage digital solutions and data to enhance supply chain visibility, along with the restructuring of supply chains and offering alternative intermodal transportation to customers for sustainable logistics.
Cadence Wong (Moderator)
Industry Relations Manager and NUS Alumna, NUS Centre for Future-Ready Graduates
Cadence is part of CFG’s Industry Relations team and an NUS alumna. She finds immense satisfaction working with her local and foreign industry partners to develop successful strategies to build brand awareness and talent pipelines. Seeing students in jobs that bring them motivation and learning opportunities also keeps her going. When not working at her day job, she is a Singapore food and bar scout, recommending awesome choices (in her opinion) to her family, friends and anyone who wishes to hear.
