To students from a non-Business major, the hill to climb to break into and flourish in the world of business may seem steep at times. Ever wondered how you can value-add to businesses, and what skills you would need to build a Business career?
Join us for a fireside chat with speakers from non-Business backgrounds who have built successful and flourishing careers in commercial fields. You will also get to ask them questions during the Q&A segment and network with them over light refreshments at the session.
Listen to our speakers' career journeys and insights on:
- Their decision to do a non-Business major and how it has benefited or hindered their career journey
- How they broke into their respective industries despite not having business backgrounds
- What skills and business acumen are most valued within their respective fields and how they demonstrated these to their employers
- What disadvantages or challenges did they encounter vis-a-vis their peers with business degrees, and how they overcame them to build successful careers
Who should attend?
- Undergraduates of all non-Business faculties interested in breaking into Business roles such as Product Management, Business Development, Strategy, and Commercial Analyst
