Ziyad is a Research Assistant in CNCS working in the Climate Impact Science Research (CISR) Programme, aiming to foresee the impact of climate change on Singapore’s tropical forest for conservation purposes.
Biography
Ziyad's passion for botany, which sparked during his undergraduate studies in ecology and plant systematics subjects, is particularly focused on the diverse flora of Borneo Island. This interest has led him to the CISR Programme, where he aims to integrate his knowledge of plant life with the study of climate impact on biodiversity. His goal is to understand how changing climate conditions affect the rich biodiversity within natural forest reserves.
