Safeguarding Water Quality through Detection, Surveillance and Modeling of Emerging Contaminants in the Urban Water Cycle

Rapid urbanisation has led to increased exposure to a wide range of microbial and chemical emerging contaminants (ECs) in the environment. To protect and maintain water quality of our urban water cycle and recreational landscapes, researchers at NERI have developed a holistic approach of surveillance, modeling and risk assessment as diagnostic and solution-based tools for the management of these contaminants.
