School of Design and Environment
The College of Design and Engineering (CDE) came into existence on 1 January 2022 from the merger of the Faculty of Engineering (FoE) and the School of Design and Environment (SDE). Do check cde.nus.edu.sg for the latest on CDE’s programmes.
Overview
The School of Design and Environment (SDE) comprises two departments − Architecture, the Built Environment, and one division − Industrial Design. Since its establishment, SDE remains the only faculty in a Singapore university that provides a comprehensive multi-disciplinary offering of teaching and research in architecture and landscape architecture, urban planning and design, project and facilities management, building performance and sustainability, and industrial design.
