Conflict of Interest
The University is in a position of trust in relation to many external organizations. In addition, the University faculty and staff members have a responsibility to the government, donors, parents, students, and other sources of resources to use such resources prudently and ethically. Considerations for personal gain, financial or otherwise, must not influence the decisions or actions of the University faculty and staff members in carrying out their responsibilities to NUS.
The COI unit of the Office of Risk Management and Compliance (ORMC) facilitates the resolution of matters arising from Conflict of Interest (COI).
