Crisis Management

The National University of Singapore has the responsibility to safeguard the health, safety and security of our staff and students. The University has taken active steps to reduce hazards and risks in the University. In spite of safety precautions, crises and emergencies do happen and the University must be prepared to respond to these events.

Normal day-to-day procedures usually are not sufficient for effective disaster response. Emergency measures have to be implemented quickly to prevent loss of life and damage to property.

To equip NUS staff and students with the knowledge and tools so that they can efficiently and effectively plan and organize their activities and events safely, and manage crisis and emergency situations expediently when they happen.
