Programme Structure / 2014 Cohort

##: NUS will adopt three new academic terminologies from 1 August 2023 - “Module” will be renamed “Course”, “Modular Credit (MC)” will be renamed “Unit”, and “Cumulative Average Point (CAP)” will be renamed “Grade Point Average (GPA)”. The definition of a Module/Course and MC/Unit will remain the same, and there will be no change to the computation of the CAP/GPA.

Note 2: Detailed requirements to fulfil CNM Elective Major Modules

  • Minimum 24 MCs of NM modules (excluding NM1101E, NM2101, NM2103, NM2104)
  • A minimum of 20 MCs of level 3000 modules
  • Maximum of 2 level 4000 NM modules (subject to department's approval)
  • Not more than 20 modules if recognised modules (optional)

Note 3: DDP students who have read EC1101E / EC1301 are still required to read BSP1005, as the two modules are not preclusion for BSP1005. EC1101E / EC1301 should be read before BSP1005.

Other Information

USP Requirements
A USP Writing and Critical Thinking Module can be taken in place of the BBA Foundation Module ES2002 Business Communication. Students who want to map other USP modules to the double degree programme should seek the approval of the FASS and BIZ.
