Notes

  1. Biz students who have read BT1101 Introduction to Business Analytics before exiting the DDP will be considered as having read the requirement for the Data Literacy pillar. Biz students who have read CS1010A/S or its variants before exiting the DDP will be considered as having read the requirement for the Digital Literacy GE pillar.
  2. Biz students are exempt from doing MNO2707 Business Ethics. Students who withdraw without reading Digital Ethics and Data Privacy will have to read MNO2707 Business Ethics (2 Units). Note: The course IS1108 Digital Ethics and Data Privacy will be renamed to “Digital and AI Ethics” from AY25/26 (Aug 2025).
  3. Students are required to take 12 Units from a list of ID/CD courses with at least two ID courses and no more than one CD Course to satisfy the 12 Units required in this group.
  4. These include career starters workshops, internships and international exposure.
  5. Biz students are exempt from doing DAO1704 and DAO2702. However, if they exit the DDP programme, they have to read DAO1704 and DAO2702.
  6. It is not compulsory for DDP students to do a business major for the BBA degree, but they are still required to complete the general management major of 36 Units.

    Students who wish to major in a business area may have to read extra courses to meet the respective major requirements. Students may go here to view the list of courses under each Business Major.

    Students in this DDP are not allowed to major in Applied Business Analytics.

    Business (home faculty) students who withdraw from the DDP and return to the BBA(Hons) single degree programme are still required to have a primary major.
  7. Students aiming for Honours (Highest Distinction) in the Business Analytics degree would need to complete BT4101 BSc (Business Analytics) Dissertation. If a student wishes to double‐count BT4101 BSc (Business Analytics) Dissertation and BHD4001 Business Honours Dissertation, this may exceed the maximum limit allowed and hence the student may have to read unrestricted electives in so far as the limit is exceeded.

    Since the business thesis BHD4002 is only worth 8 Units, the other 4 Units will be disregarded for the purpose of the Business Degree. Business Students who intend to read IHT cannot graduate with a general management major (as IHT has to relate to one of the business majors).

    Students will read Integrated Honours Thesis (IHT) (12 Units) that will be double-counted towards both degree. BZA home faculty students will read XFC4101 while Business home faculty students will read XFB4001.
  8. NUSC/UTCP/RVRC students are not required to read IS2101 or ES2002. Students who exit from NUSC/UTCP/RVRC without having read Thinking with Writing (NTW), UTW1001/UTW2001 or RVX would need to read IS2101/ES2002. These courses will be classified as a common course in lieu of IS2101/ES2002.

    Students who withdraw from the DDP without having read Thinking with Writing (NTW) or IS2101/ES2002, must read your own Home Faculty communication course (IS2101 for SoC; ES2002 for BIZ).
  9. Some programme electives of the two degrees are the same. If students in this DDP wish to double‐count them to meet both programmes' requirements, they need to read corresponding number of Unrestricted Electives to meet the shortfall in total Units (which must be at least 160). Excluding the university‐level requirements, the total double‐counting in this DDP combination must not exceed 32 Units.
  10. Due to the many permutations available, students reading this programme will construct a personalised double-degree programme curriculum with the help of the DDP administrators from both schools.
