##: NUS will adopt three new academic terminologies from 1 August 2023 - “Module” will be renamed “Course”, “Modular Credit (MC)” will be renamed “Unit”, and “Cumulative Average Point (CAP)” will be renamed “Grade Point Average (GPA)”. The definition of a Module/Course and MC/Unit will remain the same, and there will be no change to the computation of the CAP/GPA.

Note 1
* For Cohort 2018 to Cohort 2020
Students of this DDP are required to read and pass GET1031A Computational
Thinking to fulfil the University's Computational Thinking requirement.
This module will be concurrently used to satisfy your GET pillar
requirement but only 4 MCs will be earned if you pass it. The modular
credits and grade for this module will be factored towards the FASS degree
requirements only.
For students whose home faculty is FoL, GET1031A will be pre-allocated to
you in your third year of study, as you will be expected to start reading
modules to satisfy the FASS degree requirements from the third year
(example, if you are of Cohort 2017, GET1031A will be pre-allocated to you
from AY2019-20).
