Eligibility and Collection Periods

Please refer to the table below for the different collection eligibility and periods.

Note:
  • Your degree scroll will be withheld if there is a “Hold” on your record. You may log in to myEduRec to check for any “Hold(s)” and contact the relevant office to work out the necessary rectification.
  • You may still attend Commencement ceremonies even if you have collected the documents earlier.

Within the first 2 weeks of July 2021 and onwards. Please refer to the modes of collection below for more details. 

 

Modes of Collection

1.  By Courier

You may opt for the degree scroll and transcript to be sent to you by courier. However, the University would not be able to replace the degree scroll should it be lost or irreversibly damaged in the mail. 

Please submit your request via the Commencement Registration at EduRec by 30 April 2021.  Requests made by this date will have postage charges waived.  Please ensure you check/update your mailing address, in English, and contact number (for the courier company should they need to contact you). 

Some time may be required for you to receive the degree scroll by courier due to the large volume expected and your patience is appreciated during this period.

(B) Notification on Delivery Periods for All Class of 2020 and Class of 2021 Graduates

Registrar’s Office will start mailing the hard copy degree scrolls, in batches from 1 July 2021 onwards, by courier to all graduates who selected this option during the Commencement registration period. 

How will you be notified?

For Singapore addresses only: 
  • An email will be sent by Registrar’s Office to you 1 week before you are due to receive the degree scroll 
  • An SMS will be sent by the courier company to you 1 day before you are due to receive the degree scroll

For non-Singapore addresses, an email with tracking number will be sent to you from Registrar’s Office.

2. Collect from Registrar’s Office

You may also request to self-collect or authorise a proxy to collect your degree scroll and transcript from the Registrar’s Office. An appointment is required for collection at our office.

How to Book
Please book your appointment at least 1 working day before your desired collection date. The login name is your NUS email address (e.g. E0123456@u.nus.edu or E0123456@u.yale-nus.edu.sg).

If you are authorizing a proxy to collect the degree scroll and transcript on your behalf, please complete an online form here.

  • You will receive an email notification after you have submitted the form.
  • Forward the email notification and a copy of your NRIC or Passport to your proxy to present for verification during collection.

Your proxy should also bring his/her own NRIC or Passport for identification during collection.

The appointment booking details will be sent to your NUS Lifelong Email account on the following dates:

Collection at Registrar’s Office will send an email (via NUS Lifelong email account) to all graduates who had selected this option during the Commencement registration period informing them when the appointment system in opened. Collection period will begin with the first 2 weeks of July 2021.
