Biodata

A/P Laksh received his B.Eng. (Hons.) and MS degrees in Chemical Engineering from BITS, Pilani, India and the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras respectively. After completing his PhD in the area of Process Control from the University of Alberta, Laksh went on to work for Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation, Japan at their Mizushima R&D Centre. His love to combine teaching and research brought him to NUS where he is now an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. Laksh enjoys playing cricket every weekend with his colleagues, reading short stories (the humor and satire types) and listening to Indian classical music.
