Most educators are passionate about wanting to provide the best educational experience possible within the constraints of limited resources and time. While new interventions and pedagogical approaches are exciting and innovative, many of them require either an overhaul of an entire system, or simply require too much resources to implement effectively. I am deeply interested in how one can possibly formulate low-cost scalable interventions through the use of technology, that are based on existing psychological theories which are already empirically supported, so as to improve learning outcomes in the areas of critical thinking and curiosity. I am also passionate about how we can create positive educational change not just in NUS, but also how we can contribute to the educational landscape in the developing countries in Asia.

About being a part of the Academy…

I am honoured to have the privilege to be part of a community of excellent educators, who are passionate about creating positive change and increasing the quality of education here in NUS.
