My goal as an educator is to facilitate the transformative growth and success of students – both professionally and as good citizens of society. I believe that teaching is about sharing, building, and exploring. My passion in the classroom is a manifestation of my genuine love for design and the infinite possibilities it may offer to enhance human experiences. I work to create an intimate setting that promotes dialogue, play, interaction, empowerment, and discovery. I assist students on how to cultivate their ideas, allowing them to gain mastery over a problem while fostering inventiveness and creativity.

I regard education as a two-way process and maintain an interactive engagement with students to allow for this. I try not to limit the flow of information as top-down – “teacher to student” relationship but subscribe to the idea of teaching and learning as a reciprocal process. And as these relationships grow, I attempt to instill self-confidence, point of view, and continuous improvement.
