My primary focus as an educator is to impart finance-related knowledge to my students and maximize their learning experiences. Finance students are usually keen on relevant and applicable skillsets that can land them a rewarding career role. Hence, my pedagogical approach is carefully designed to connect the classroom learning with the real financial world. My second principle in teaching is to influence students to have the right moral standards and ethics in consistent dealings. I emphasize on the excellence and rigor in my students’ work and learning process. And my third goal is to empower my students to be the change makers for a better and more sustainable world. I aim to inspire, motivate and lead my students to take up real challenges and provide innovative and practical solutions. I find that the adoption of my students’ work by the industry is the most rewarding part of my journey as the educator.
