Nina VENKATARAMAN is a Lecturer at the Centre for English Language Communication. She has a PhD in Linguistics from National University of Singapore. She has had experience both in coordinating and creating courses at different tertiary institutions in Singapore.

Beyond teaching at the University, she is part of the Steering Committee of the International Ecolinguistics Association.  She reviews journal manuscripts for the Association.

She remains a passionate advocate of taking care of the environment and the language we use to communicate about it.
