NUS Museum Work Opportunities
Ever wondered what it’s like to work in a museum?
NUS Museum and NUS Baba House offer internship opportunities for students interested in exploring museum practice across various roles through the Vacation Internship Programme. Designed to provide meaningful exposure to the museum and arts sector, the programme offers hands-on experience in research, professional skills development, mentorship, and immersion in the day-to-day workings of a museum.
Alongside their internship placements, students can participate in field trips to cultural institutions and engage with practitioners across the sector, gaining deeper insight into the diverse roles, practices, and developments that shape Singapore’s arts and heritage landscape. Through these experiences, interns will develop valuable skills, expand their professional networks, and gain a clearer understanding of potential pathways into the arts and heritage sector.
Open calls for the Vacation Internship Programme are typically announced in March/April each year, with occasional additional recruitment cycles in October/November.
