Singapore International Science Camp (SISC)

We are delighted to reflect on the successful completion of the Singapore International Science Camp (SISC) held from 16th to 20th December 2024, organised by Asia Pacific Centre for Management Education (APCME) and NUS Environmental Research Institute (NERI). This engaging 5-day camp brought together 36 bright high-school students from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and India, fostering an enriching environment for cross-cultural learning and collaboration.

Participants had the opportunity to dive into a variety of stimulating sessions, exploring inter-disciplinary engineering and science and working collaboratively on research projects. These activities not only bolstered their academic prowess but also inspired creativity and innovation.

Beyond the classroom, students enjoyed enriching visits to NUS Agri-tech Facility, Net-Zero energy building, Singapore Science Centre and Singapore's iconic tourist attractions, which created a holistic program with an unforgettable experience for all attendees.

In recognition of their dedication and hard work, student achievements were recognised and celebrated in the ceremony marking a successful closure to the program.
