Teach SG connects me with the Singaporean society. As an international student without family or relatives here, I often found myself preoccupied with coursework and university life. Teach SG has provided a refreshing diversion. It has helped connect me with the local community. I now understand the local education system better and how the local children grow up. I’ve gained valuable insights into their lives, hobbies, and interests. This has made my studies in Singapore more meaningful and holistic, reminding me that I’m here not only to earn a degree, but also to engage with people and the local culture.
