Considerations for Research Collaboration

If you conduct a HBRA study in collaboration with researcher(s) from another research institution please note that:

Section 16(2) of the HBRA permits the collaborating partners to appoint a common IRB to review the study in place of review by multiple IRBs.

The research collaboration agreement should state which research institution is the lead institution for the purposes of coordinating the research, according to Section 16(1).
