Ms Agnes Tan is Chief People and Culture Officer at the National University of Singapore. A seasoned HR leader with extensive experience in diverse fields – including the logistics, retail, hospitality and technology sectors – Agnes brings close to 30 years of people and culture experience spanning the Asia Pacific, North America and Europe.

Over her career, Agnes has led major organisational transformations, built leadership and succession initiatives, and overseen workforce strategy for large corporations across a variety of markets. 

Agnes’ former roles include Vice President of Human Resources and the VFAcademy for the Asia Pacific region at VF Corporation, a multi-brand consumer products company with a global footprint. At VF, Agnes also served as Global HR Leader for one of VF’s core brands Vans, where she helped align people strategy with business and operational priorities.

Prior to VF, Agnes held senior HR leadership roles at Lendlease and Tyco International, where she drove HR strategies across various markets – from Asia to the United States – and partnered with leadership to align organisational structure and capabilities with growth aspirations.

Agnes holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Human Resource Management from the University of New South Wales and a Master of Organisational Leadership from Monash University.
